Motivation Monday: Delayed

Yesterday did not a very inspired Laura. I was moving at a glacial pace crying out "I don't want to and you can't make me!" every step of the way throughout my day. I wanted to bury myself under the covers and not come out until the dreary, cloudy day had given way to some bright sunshine. But alas, teaching must be done in the drear as well as the bright. So I buckled down, filled my mug with high octane caffeine, and plowed on through the day. I even somehow managed to get my tax preparation 85% complete. And in the end, I had a surprise reward for my efforts:

Yes, a card game gift from Hello Fresh. Completely unexpected and rather absurd collaboration, but it made me smile. And that's what I really needed to lay to rest my Monday Moodies.
